Based in Mumbai, Aliya hamidi is a rising sensation in the bollywood industry. She has successfully marked her place in the industry and is ruling hearts of millions. She also has refined make-up skills which can be seen on her face. To know more our team connected to her for an interview, here’s how it went;
Q: What attracted you to begin your career as a model and actor?
I have always had a keen interest in fashion. I always felt excited at the idea of being photographed which kind of helped me in turning towards modelling. In a way, you can say that modelling naturally came my way to fulfil both interests.
Q: How was your family’s response to your career decision?
My family has always supported the decisions I made for myself be it about anything. When I told them about my interest and my career plan they understood and supported me. I am so grateful for their understanding and faith in me.
Q: When you feel low or have a bad day, what do you do to make it better?
My friends are my saviours, they are the real stress relievers for me. Also, I follow it for myself and advise other people to do so, that it is important to remember, next morning is going to be a fresh day, never touched before, so it should not be affected by the previous day’s stress.
Q: What do you love to do in your free time?
I am a shopping geek; be it online or in-store spree, I love to shop. And that’s what I do in my free time.
Q: Actors have to face criticism. As an actor, do you handle it?
Thankfully, I mostly receive positive comments and reactions from my followers, fans and counterparts from the industry which I am grateful for. I anyways believe that positive criticism helps you understand where you are going wrong, so I welcome feedback, they make me a better version of myself and pushes me to do better.
Q: How do you manage your health and fitness during a busy work schedule?
By making sure I hit the gym at least 3 days a week, I try and plan my schedule in a manner that I can devote some time for my health. And on days I don’t have much time or energy I push myself to work out and maintain my health.
Q: What motivated you to keep on doing hard work?
I believe work doesn’t seem hard if you are passionate about it. I followed my passion and didn’t have to work hard, but yes the idea of doing better keeps me motivated.
Q: How would you describe your relationship with the co-stars you have worked with?
Most of the co-stars I’ve worked with have become close friends. They have been very helpful and supportive to me.
Q:What was your most difficult project, and how do you manage it?
Recently, I finished shooting for my debut Bollywood Hindi film it was really challenging for me, For one of the schedules, we were shooting in Himalayan ranges where the temperature was -5 degrees and no cellular network; it is a bigger task to shoot in those conditions. But against all odds, we finished the schedule.
Q: How has been your journey till now as a Model/ Influencer?
With God’s blessing, I am fortunate to say,things worked out for me quite easily and effortlessly. Probably, because I didn’t take ‘Struggle’ as a struggle rather, an opportunity to learn and grow.
Q: What sort of acting roles do you look for? Share your upcoming projects.
As I mentioned earlier, I just finished shooting for a Bollywood Hindi film under the label WhiteHill
productions. I am currently focused on getting it right and giving my best, not thinking about future roles.Q Who is your role model in the industry, and what do you like about that person?
Allu Arjun is my role model in the industry, his humbleness and acting skills made me admire
him. The way he carries himself is just mesmerizing.
Q: What is your biggest dream in life?
I only dreamt of becoming a superstar, all my life and that is what I look forward to. Fingers crossed.
Q: What are your goals? Where do you want to see yourself as an actor?
I would love to do a variety of roles even if they are not lucrative in a commercial sense.
I want others to take inspiration from me. I want people to admire me for the kind of roles I do
