Mr. Vevek Paul, the founder of the Great Indian Film Festival with an MBA, envisioned Cinemaaddicts9 in 2016 with the vision of delivering quality media content to a variety of platforms. With his favorite quote in life by the legendary Theodore Roosevelt, “Far away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at the work worth doing” we surely have witnessed quite a cinematic journey he has marked upon packed with ground-breaking ideas for providing quality content to our audiences.
Walking down the memory lane Mr. Vevek Paul shares with us, “Cinemaddicts9 was born in 2016 with he vision of delivering high-quality media content to a variety of platforms. Our team comprises young and dynamic filmmakers and we are collectively working towards making ideas and stories turn into a reality.” The world is very well aware of the endeavors Mr. Paul has achieved in such a short time in the cinematic verse, he further tells us, “We have been producing popular and entertaining shows on National Geographic such as “Science of Stupid” which is hosted by Manish Paul & Animals Gone wild with Jaaved Jaffrey.”
Mr. Vevek Paul, as a producer with student filmmakers, has ventured into short films like ‘Black briefcase’ and ‘Banjar’ which have been highly praised by critics as well as garnered a huge round of applause in renowned film festivals like ‘Vancouver International South Asian Film Festival’ and ‘Gujarat International Film Festival’ including various others worldwide.
Apart from movies and short films, Mr. Paul also has a keen interest and appreciation for music as he also excels in curating the best of melodies with some excellent artists from over the world. “Our music videos have been published on popular channels such as the T-series and Zee music, and we have collaborated with Indian and British artists.”, Mr. Paul shares these insights with us.

Always aiming for the stars, Mr. Paul says, “As a producer, I look for new opportunities and collaborations with filmmakers and storytellers to create content that is meaningful as well as visually innovative and entertaining.” Wondering where Mr. Paul has his eureka moment? Well well, hear from the genius himself, “The success of my micro-shorts mobile film at the Vancouver Film Festival propelled me to start my own film festival. This is how the Great Indian Film Festival was conceptualized. It is an initiative to provide a global platform to the young as well as experienced filmmakers to have their
short films and stories reach the cinematically inclined audience while promoting cross-viewership and exchange of creative ideas. TGIFF accepts good films from all over the world and will be screened in 2021 in PVR Mumbai.” We sure are highly impressed and inspired to not only have such a fine connoisseur of art but also an analytical person who is passionate about using every skill he has been bestowed upon for the betterment of our people.
